If crown is being installed, it would be installed above the cabinet, not on the face frame. A full interior stainless steel hood liner will also be installed (liner can be removed on site, if needed, however a hood liner is strongly recommended to prevent the wood hood from getting burned and is required by code in many places. The interior hood liner dimensions are as follows:
